The person that is willing to slide along the line of the least resistance and exerts themselves as little as possible has nothing upon which to build.
I don't know about you but I am sick of hearing how just thinking about things brings success. From studying Hypnotherapy, Counselling, Psychology and Personal Development for about 16 years I can honestly say it's bullshit. Yes we may live in a world of energy and vibration, and its quite possible we can attract people, places and things into our lives. But, you also need to take action.
Why is it bullshit?
Well, its not that 'just thinking about it' has its benefits. Or that Hypnosis, Counselling or Personal development doesn't work its that very few seem to put the skills into practice (take action).
I can hypnotise you to begin to feel more confident about Public Speaking, yet if you don't get your ass up in front of people, then it's not going to work long term. Simply thinking about doing it wont get the job done. This is because your mind is not getting the exposure to adjust it's perception of the threat (if that makes sense).
The same goes for weight loss and exercise. You can listen to my MP3 sessions, which will assist you to feel more confident about achieving your goals, yet if you don't your ass out that door and start walking the habit will not take hold. Simply thinking about losing weight, still will not make you lose weight!
So, as well as using all these tools available, you still need to take some form of action to get the results that you are looking for.
