Discussion:
This session was one that I originally designed for myself and as it has had such a positive effect I decided to share it with a few others, to which its popularity has grown from there. Mainly designed around motivation to exercise it also describes the benefits of an all round healthy lifestyle.
What this session embraces is that change is a process and that process can begin right now. Not in a month, year or more but right now with just 5 mins. The aim is that the client will adopt a 5 minute a day change that will result in a habit.
Once the habit is formed and progress developed then that 5mins will turn to 10 and 10 to 20, and so on. But we all know, a 10 kilometre marathon does happen instantly, neither does a fit body and healthy lifestyle. It involves small and consistent changes that are manageable and build momentum.
This session consists of a natural induction with confusion, deepener and subtle convincer to really add some expectation to your session. Also, there is an emphasis on post hypnotic suggestion in the form of writing down fitness goals and searching for the real reasons in why this is so important. This is designed to reinforce change beyond the present moment.
